Veuve Cliqcuot Brut NV
Veuve Cliqcuot Brut NV
Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut has been the symbol of the house since 1772. And it is an important bottle for one of the biggest champagne brands. A perfect balance between power and finesse, its complexity comes from the predominant presence of Pinot Noir and Reserve wines. It shows our amazing vineyards and the consistent style of our house. Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label manages to unite two opposing factors - strength and silkiness - and to keep them in perfect balance with aromatic intensity and a lot of freshness. This consistent power to please makes it ideal as an aperitif and perfect as the champagne to enjoy with a meal. Veuve Clicquot Brut has a beautiful golden color with a small fine and lively bubbles in the glass. Lovely fruity bouquet with notes of fresh fruit such as peach, pear, apple, and mirabelle plum in a wonderful combination with nuances of vanilla and roasted nuts. The taste is soft, fruity, and full-bodied, as well as crisp and deliciously dry.
Veuve Clicquot Champagne was established in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot. Today, the French company is one of the world's largest producers of delicious champagne with a great style and strong brand. Veuve Clicquot is world-renowned for its delicious champagnes, and the most famous is "The Yellow Widow" which is known worldwide.
Comments from a tasting:
"This classic, well-known Champagne is a traditional blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Lime zest, green apple and freshly baked bread aromas on the nose, with a terrific persistence of bubbles on the palate. Try the ultra-shabby chic combo here between French Champagne and a bucket of KFC chicken. Why wait for New Year’s or a wedding before you pop open bubbly when it’s so tasty? The bonus is that it’s just about the best partner for fried food on the planet: it’s mouth-watering acidity and bubbles wash away the fat, making you want more of course."
